A few updates

Stress sucks.  Which you probably knew.

I haven't been sick in quite some time, and my body finally gave in to the stresses I've been going through.  Sinus infection, heading in the direction of my lungs.  Antibiotics should take care of it, but it still stinks.

On a happier note, one of the people I was worried about (thyroid cancer - I'll let her post if she wants to let the world know about it) is doing quite well after her surgery, during which they determined that the cancer was benign and they only needed to remove half of her Thyroid!  She's being released from the hospital tomorrow.  Yay!

Also on a happier note, the other person I was worried about seems to be doing quite well also.  She's scheduled for surgery in March, but is experiencing no symptoms right now, so everything points to optimism.  Hooray!

Back to my being sick.  It's very strange - one of the things that Network Spinal Analysis does is it makes you very aware of your body, and the things going on with it.  So I'm experiencing this sinus infection like I've never experienced any illness before.  Greg would tell me "great awareness" - but I'm not convinced that this is a good thing.  All the same, I'm healing faster than I did last time I had anything like this - which could be attributed to my being aware of things and getting them taken care of, or it could be attributed to my body's being more in tune with itself and able to deal with invaders more efficiently, or it could be attributed to the chiropractic adjustment I got yesterday (which allowed my body to concentrate on healing, rather than spread it's forces to battle that and a misaligned spine), or it could just be better antibiotics.  Or some combination of the above.

So yay, I suppose.  But still, I'm very aware of all my symptoms....
