Cars cars cars
My car died. =(

Took it in to Pep Boys. Estimated at $891.07. That brings the total for this car to about $3000 in the past year.

Talked to Jessica - time to give up on the ol' Probe. Asked her to look around for something around $5000.

Talked to Mom. Mom pointed out (correctly) that the chances of a $5000 car only costing $5000 is very slim - it's likely to be about as expensive as the one I've got, so I may as well spend more and get a car that'll last longer. Then she does the wonderfully unexpected: She offers to loan me the money.

Many many hours of searching, negotiating, dealing with awful and wonderful sales people, working out contracts, signing up for insurance, etc later.....

And I'm now driving my Prius! WOOHOO!!!!

Hey look, a picture!
(From a bad angle - but it's off the dealer's website, so I don't have to try to take a better one in the dark now! =) )

Woohoo! Very cool. Now hop in that car and come visit!

BTW, did I mention that last week Ainsley says to me, Remember when Joel made my red balloon fly away? So see, they do remember you! LOL!

I was worried that the new little one had swallowed you guys whole. Believe it or not, we were talking about Ainsley in the past 2 weeks too.

We must schedule dinner!

Re: Yeh
Definitely. And another funny, on that very occasion of the balloon incident, Joel's car was dead, and at Pep Boys. Funny.
