Some good from the past two weeks
Thursday: Spent hours playing "Enter the Matrix." Duuuude...

Friday: Matrix Reloaded. DUUUUUUUDE!!

Saturday: Bought myself a digital camera. Coooool!

Sunday: Performance. Whee!

Monday: "Jubilee" in Pasadena. Very fun!

Tuesday: Styx, REO Speedwagon, Journey at the Staples Center. Remind me to try to avoid the Staples Center in the future. Great concert, but I heard echos more than I heard the groups...

Thursday: More Entering of the Matrix

Friday: History of Barbershop lecture by David Wright (Barbershop arranging god) with performances by Gotcha! (currently sitting in 1st place for this year's International competition)

Saturday: Ragtime in Fullerton. GREAT play. Damn fine production as well. Shame most of you missed it... :-P
Also Saturday: Joined a gym. Maybe I'll stop being so big and fat!
Also Saturday: Had my first McGriddle. Maybe I'll continue being so big and fat...

Sunday: Streetcar Named Desire in Ventura. REALLY good, if intense, play. Anyone who wants to see it, it's been extended another week, and they're looking for ushers... :-)

This upcoming Wednesday: Blue Man Group at the Wiltern. Should be an incredible show.

If Blue Man is anything like they were at Coachella, it will blow you into another dimension. Hands down, the best production values I've seen in years. Good music, too.

That's what I figured.
I've been saying for over a year that if one were to drive straight from CA to the Luxor in Vegas, walk straight into the Blue Man theatre, see the show, walk straight to your car and drive home, it would very much be worth the trip. I've been looking forward to this show since the moment self mentioned it in his journal.

Will we be seeing you there?

Us mortals were never meant to experience such fun as yours.

One of my roommates saw that concert at the Staples Center too. Said it was great. He brought back this sleeveless Styx t-shirt for one of our other roommates. All he needs now is a mullet ;) Staples is horrible for concerts. Saw a concert their a few years back, and I have to agree about the echo thing. Couldn't hear much for a few days after that. Blue Man will be great. Saw them at Luxor. It was an incredible show.
