Well, there goes the hopes of not-getting-up-until-I-have-to-leave-for-the-concert...q
Had a funny feeling about Weekend Support, so I just called (about an hour and a quarter early).

Followed the most recent documentation I had sent to myself. Which is dated 6/28/02. Not much could have changed in the process, right?

Well, it seems that not much has changed in the process.

Just the mailbox number I'm supposed to log into.

I'm gonna get ready and go to the office now and see if I can get in to get the current documentation. I've got keys, so the only thing preventing it would be the magnetic lock on the door that only lets people in during certain hours.....

I got there and surprise! The door let me in!

I went in and realized that it made no sense to get the information, then go home and call in to the weekend support line and make long distance calls from there. So I turned on my computer and made calls from work. Gave me an opportunity to take a look at faxes, send FAQ's to those who needed it, etc. Plus, my time was recorded and I didn't have to pay long distance.

The punchline? I e-mailed myself the current version of the FAQ so I would have it at home...and the attachment didn't come through. Fortunately, I know the differences in them now - the old said extension 302, and the new one says extension 101. I can deal with that.

Way to screw your workmates!
Gave me an opportunity to take a look at faxes, send FAQ's to those who needed it, etc.

And the next time those people call in for weekend support, guess what they'll expect? Hmmm. Suddenly, I'm glad I don't work there anymore...
