GO@$%#& FU^@$&#%&#ING STUPID #$#&$@S!!!
My XBox was delivered to the service center at 11:20 this morning.

Check it out yourself. Go to UPS's website and check for my tracking number: 1Z 629 84E 03 4783 977 1

It was delivered. 11:20am this morning.

My recommendation to you folks out there? If you're gonna go with the extended warranty, which I can attest is worthwhile because, well, they seem to break down, get it from the store you bought the machine from. Do NOT wait to get the warranty direct from Microsoft. It is NOT worth it.

Yes. As a matter of fact, it is.
...and you were wondering why I got so upset last time I talked with them. It has a lot to do with the fact that they and their system are incompetent.

Whatever the case, the guy I spoke with was better than last time. Kept me on the phone the whole time and did his research while I listened, asked me questions that made sense, that kind of thing. And he believed me, which was important. He said that it might have gotten caught in a variance of some kind -- it arrived OK, but someone might have mis-entered a serial number somewhere or something, causing them to not know where the machine went or what to do with it. But now that he has my UPS tracking # on file, they'll probably end up cross referencing it and figure it out in the morning.

Meanwhile, I should see if I can find my serial # and call to let them know what it is. And call in the morning to figure out what's going on.
