To the Potter readers of the world
My next week is hectic.  And ugly.

I had set aside this weekend as "Harry Potter Reading Weekend," with the full intention of being finished with book 7 by the end of Sunday night, if it meant staying up 36 hours from UPS' delivery to do it.  But it was not to be -- Irene Gold, the National Boards review class that made my passing Part I possible, scheduled their first weekend as evilly as they could, and so I'm busy 8-6 both Saturday and Sunday.

As soon as I saw that, I requested Monday off of clinic time - at least I'd get one HPR day.  It didn't matter, I figured, since I was still in my base clinic and the place was covered anyway.  I'd only be missing out on six hours, and could make that up elsewhere.  Then this week, the school FINALLY wised up about my PPR experience and approved me to work with Dr. McNamee (the doc I visited on the 3rd of July, not the original one who may or may not have sent in his paperwork by now), and Dr. McNamee only works Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.  I need the hours (I'm in West Hollywood at the Being Alive clinic on Fridays), so I cancelled my request for Monday.

So now my only time to read the book at all is while I drive (if I can get hold of the audiobook in time for that) and at night before bed, until next Thursday, which is my next day off.

I assume you who start the book on Saturday will be finished by then.  PLEASE do not post any spoilers without proper warning, and preferrably an lj-cut.  In fact, please don't even talk about it for a week.  I don't want to see any t-shirts with "this person dies on page such and such" this time around, I don't want to hear about it on the radio.  I really just want this to be as pure an experience as I can make it, and would appreciate your help in this endeavor.

Or, I could not fool myself, and shut myself off from the world and the Internet for a week.  I may try that option, but not checking my e-mail or regular websites for that long could prove very challenging.  So if you could help me out, I'd be very grateful.

Thanks!
