New lenses gooooooood.
So the astigmatism correcting contact lenses I got yesterday seem to be better than the ones I had before (that didn't do that correction). They still feel foreign to my eyelids, but it just occurred to me that I've had them in all day and my computer hasn't been blurry.

That would count as a major, and important, improvement.....

And that's...A Good Thing.
Very cool. I'm sure you'll get used to the contacts eventually. Both my dad and my sister went through the switch, and had a few problems at first, but adjusted fairly quickly, from what I remember. Denise still uses contacts. Dad eventually decided to get the lasic eye surgery, but that was after about 15 years of using contacts with no problems...

That's what I was thinkin'.
The old lenses were a little more comfortable, but didn't do the job. Computers were blurry, as were freeway road signs. These are a much better solution.... :-)

Plus, my vision doesn't get blurry in the rain this way! And I can see on water rides and stuff....

Water rides?
Do you mean like Splash Mountain? Or are you referring to Raging Waters and similar parks?

One of those seems like an okay idea, the other just doesn't, for some reason...

Water rides!
No, I was talking about Splash Mountain, Grizly River Rapids, and Jurassic Park.

There's likely to be others out there as well, but those are the ones my annual passes will let me get to....
