My weekend
Friday, Jen and I joined lindasings and self for a play called Much Adoobie Brothers About Nothing.  We'd seen The Troubadour Theatre Company before in their production of Romeo Hall & Juliet Oates, and knew we'd have a great time.  We did - and I suspect many of you would too.  Go, partake, enjoy!  (Check for half price tickets here and here)

Saturday and Sunday were taken up by National Board reviews.  Which wasn't ideal timing, since Sunday was Jen'n'my first wedding anniversary.  Turned out OK - Jen picked me up from the hotel where the review was being held and we went to USC to catch the first a cappella concert of the new semester.  We shmoozed, we joked around with people, we enjoyed the concert....  we geeked out together over something we share that's special to the both of us.  I can't imagine a better way to celebrate the marriage.

Yesterday, we went to Legoland, with the help of a classmate who works there - he got us half price tickets.  It was my first time at that park, and I thoroughly enjoyed myself.  After, we splurged with some gift money Jen's grandparents gave us for the anniversary and had dinner at The Melting Pot - a fondu place that's WONDERFUL.  Sadly, we were too full for dessert, but we'll head back for that part later.  Joelly says.

And that's about it.  Low key, but very fun.  (except for the intense studying for Boards)  And of course, this was the end of a multi-week celebration -- we saw Wicked and Dirty Rotten Scoundrels over the last few weeks as part of the festivities.

No kidding!
We've got two pretty major lacks in our lives right now: A lack of Melting Pot dessert, and a lack of you! Wanna help us amend the situation?

Joel is in National Board Hell until the 16th. After that, though, we have some free time. What days work best for you? (Weekdays or weekends)
