Kitten cuddles!  
This is what I woke up to this morning:



How could I stay mad that Lilly made a huge noise at 4am that made me wide awake for hours?  These two NEVER get along enough to be that close to each other!

Depends on what the noise was about...
Maybe Lily's a great "watch cat" and scared away a burglar. Or maybe Kaylie caught her in the act of painting Kaylie's toes with bright pink polish.

We didn't really investigate - it was 4am and we were really tired. It was more of a thud than a squeal or hiss - she could have just landed poorly on the shorter dresser when jumping off the taller one. Nothing appears broken or missing, so there's not much telling. It was definitely in the direction of the window/dressers and not the door, though - and inside the bedroom.

Unanswered question...
This still doesn't explain the mysterious "shocking pink" pads on Kaylie's paws. Did she burn herself on hot pavement? Does she blush through her feet?
